Great place to dine with a family especially little kids as there is a play area out back. However, be careful because there were pieces of broken glass in the grass. I've been here just a few times but everything I've had has been delicious and the service excellent.
Delicious food and my kids love coming for the area in the back, so everyone is happy. We like inside too with the fireplace. Great gem in Kingsville in a beautiful spot.
Sunday Buffet Brunch was delicious. All food was above expectations. Coffee was too weak tho. Gunpowder food was much better than Mt Brnch Brunch food.
This is my second time eating here and I have not been disappointed. We ate outside, not just because of Covid, but because inside smells like a musty basement. Colleen, our waitress, had her hands full with everybody coming in when they opened at noon. She did a great job, and I can’t wait to come back.
My wife and I are here after a recommendation from my family. Both if the dishes we chose ended up having SO much flavor. We also had the Crab Nachos as an appetizer and it was a lot of crab meat and a ton of nachos. Definitely could split between 4 people easy. Will definitely come back, a hidden gem for sure.
Very family friendly lodge...good atmosphere reminds me of an old woods tavern in my hometown. High Food quality is evident. You can tell they put pride into their dishes. I went plain Jane and get a burger and fries...was spot on perfect. Alcohol prices are very fair well overall a great afternoon.
Love the salad selections. Nice draft selection also. Had the catfish bites appetizer, very nice flavor. The breading was slightly too thick. The accompanying cole slaw was exceptional with a hint of jalapeno. Staff was very friendly and atmosphere is quaint. Will be a staple go-to place!
The food was really delicious. The staff were accommodating and pleasant. The place was clean and well-kept. My son and I had a wonderful experience. We will definitely go back. ❤️
This place has really improved with the addition of JR. We are coming regularly for his weekly specials. The place has an awesome atmosphere and a really good locals vibe. It feels very welcoming when you come in and the menu selection is incredible not just with the specials that's previously mentioned.
